Mom’s Spaghetti Opens Ford Field Stand for Lions Fans in Detroit

Quiet residential neighborhood street

DETROIT, Mich. — Lions fans at Ford Field on Sunday can grab a plate from Mom’s Spaghetti, the Eminem-backed noodle shop that until now has served only from a take-out window in a downtown Detroit alley.

The new stand, by Section 127 at midfield on the side where visiting teams sit, opens for the Green Bay Packers game. The owner of the Union Joints restaurant group, which runs the brand with Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg, said the stadium spot is permanent and the first location beyond the alley.

The stadium menu sticks to the basics: plain spaghetti, spaghetti with meatballs and the S’ghetti sandwich, which comes with marinara for dipping.

The concept began as a short pop-up at The Shelter in 2017 and became a walk-up window beside Union Assembly in September 2021. Its name comes from a line in Lose Yourself, the 2002 hit that won Eminem an Oscar.

More Lions tie-ins are on the way. A Mom’s Spaghetti pop-up is headed to Munich, Germany, ahead of the Nov. 15 game against the New England Patriots, and the brand is set to feed a tailgate at Union Assembly before the Nov. 1 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
