NOVI, Mich. — Classic cars, hot rods and TV and movie vehicles are coming to Novi this weekend for the Shiny Rust Hot Rod Spectacular, an indoor show at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace.
Hours are Saturday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Door tickets cost $15, with cheaper advance options. Children 12 and under enter free. A $20 pass covers both days, and a VIP tier is available.
The weekend also includes a live racing simulator, a vintage pin-up contest and vendors.
Promoter Shiny Rust is back for year two of the Spectacular and pitches it as one of Metro Detroit’s newest classic-car and hot-rod gatherings.
The Grand River Avenue venue, once Suburban Collection Showplace, is a major city event site and also hosts the Michigan State Fair over Labor Day weekend.
