HIGH POINT, N.C. — Senior defender Noah Behrmann of High Point University earned Week 8 College Soccer News defensive player honors after setting up both goals in a 2-1 road win at USC Upstate.

His late winner-assist stretched the Panthers’ streak to six. He leads the team with six helpers — tied for 19th nationally — and owns career highs of 11 starts and six points.

College Soccer News listed him Tuesday among its men’s Week 8 awards, citing clutch help in Saturday night’s road win — his second career double-assist outing.

High Point’s defense has powered the surge, spotlighting a senior right back who has become a weekly difference-maker in the Big South race.

The Panthers aim to keep the streak going as conference play continues and national rankings refresh midweek.
